Lorna has not been interested in omelette either, though for some reason hard boiled egg was quite a success. Hmm, not tried dried apricot yet, that sounds interesting. She had a rice cake at baby group yesterday which was a big hit, so I bought some (they have barely any salt in) as I thought they'd make a useful portable snack. She had chilli con carne last night (without the chilli for her), and lamb casserold the night before, which seemed to go down very well! I'm with you on how quickly they develop their eating skills, and I do think that it really helps with their hand-eye coordination. And it is definitely making us eat more healthily, though I've noticed our weekly shopping bill going up with all the extra fruit and veg we're now buying! I know you said that Art has porridge fingers for brekky sometimes, I've found making ordinary porridge, but extra thick is a bit easier for Lorna to eat as she doesn't have any teeth. She just picks up handfulls and shoves it in her mouth.
